Auto Charges Settings

How Rules Work

Each numbered card under Settings is one auto charge rule. The system charges a customer only when a booking matches every part of a rule. You can have several rules running at the same time for different products or scenarios.

Rule Header

The header strip across each rule shows:

  • Product: what the customer is being charged for.
  • Status: whether the rule is active or paused.
  • Charge Window: how long after the class the system is allowed to charge.
  • Delay: how long the system waits before its first attempt.

Policy Settings

This section lists the high-level options for the rule, for example whether certain customer types are exempt or whether the rule only runs in certain situations.

Exclusions

This section lists situations the rule will not charge for, even when the booking otherwise matches.

Targeted Class Name Keywords

If keywords are listed here, the rule only applies to bookings whose class name contains one of these words. Leave it empty to match every class.

Targeted Package Keywords

Works the same way as Class Name Keywords but for the package name the customer used to book.

Excluded Class Name Keywords

Bookings whose class name contains any of these words are skipped.
